Monogrammed Bath Towels

Looks like I FINALLY got around to doing these towels for the girls' bathroom.

I was having a problem hooping the towels so I gave up for awhile.

Turns out I hooped them on the sticky stuff and used the right thread.

Thick towels are impossible to hoop with a home embroidery machine!
Then some threads shred because of the sticky back stabilizer used to do "hoopless" embroidery.

I found this cute font called "funky" font from Kabo Designs.

5T Palm Tree Set Made in 2 hours

Finally got around to using this cute palm tree fabric K. picked out.

Decided I only had enough to do shorts and an applique.

Thought about doing lots of things with it, but decided on shorts.

This is mostly because the shorts will be faster to iron!
A gathered skirt with this fabric would be an ironing nightmare.
(Wanted to do a strappy top most of all, but didn't have enough.)
Oh and I made a hair scrunchie too.  First time evah!
Love it!
Oh well I think this turned out pretty cute.

Cute smocked sundresses!

Aren't these fun little smocked sundresses?
Martha Stewart's website tells you how to make one.

I have not done it yet, but am seriously considering it.
My older daughter hates the feel of elastic, so I can't make her one.
But my 5 y.o. might wear it.
Hmmmmm.  let's see......

Toddler Bathing Suits

How cute are these toddler bathing suits?
I just noticed these featured in Sew Beautiful magazine.

It comes with a pattern too.
 up to size 4T.
If you don't sew, you could get someone else to!
We don't carry swimsuits but thought these were cute.
We have local smocking shops that do that sort of thing.  Maybe you do too!

Don't sew anyway?
Our prices on smocked goods are very reasonable.
We are having a sale right now for 30% off!
